This can only happen to me

The end is coming, where I will have to say goodbye to Finland. It went by as fast as if I had been there for a week. I would stay longer if I could. The last day of school was very relaxing and calm. After finishing the work, we gave our mentor Janne a small present, which he was very happy about. We bought him chocolate with the inscription kiitos, which means thank you, and a magnet from Lapland. Throughout the entire exchange, he was very kind and understanding to us, and he also helped us organize a trip to Lapland, which we greatly appreciate.

When Lučka and I were walking from school, we passed a lake that was completely frozen. We called our friends and went ice skating for a bit. It was fun and it was very slippery. I was a little worried that the ice would crack, but it was completely frozen and nothing to worry about. We saw a piece of wood on the ice, which we passed to each other with our feet, and it was fun because when you kicked it, it continued to slide for a long time. The piece of wood was very heavy and when I hit it on the edge it hurt a lot. As we walked home, my leg hurt. I came home and put ice on my foot. My leg got a little swollen and bruised. I don’t think it was anything serious and it was just a blow. It’s a good thing that this happened to me on the last day, so I can rest at home. Now the next day is already better.

See you soon.
