In Finland, students have open days from Oktober 31 to November 3. On these days, ninth graders visit secondary schools to decite which one they will attend in the future. Each school program presents their work on some cases. For exsample, in logistics, they have 5 stations on the courses, students learn things they will needin this profesion.

At the first station it was necessary to attach the trailer with the small car and drive it around the cones, then untie the trailer and park the car.

At the second station you had to stack boxes on a pallet so that nothing would move when driving with the forklift.

At the third station, you had a kahoot quiz with logistical concepts, for example, which brand of truck is in the picture.

At the fourth station you had a huge truck with a trailer on the scale and you had to find out the weight of the truck.

The fifth station was, in my opinion, the most interesting because there were stimulators for playing games, for example driving a car or truck.

I really like the open days here, because the school actually shows the ninth graders what they will have to do through middle school in practical lessons. I think they have a very good organization here in terms of open days and everything is so well presented that it is difficult for ninth graders to decide which profession they will study at school. Students are in each section for 45 minutes, so that they can really see all aspects of work and see whether this profession suits them or not. I like the information days here more than in Slovenia, because you have more practice and more choices in one place.

I think every student would like to study here because they have a better teaching system than other countries. I would go to a similar school if I had the option of such a school in Slovenia.
