Come estas mi gente?
It is our second week here in Santa Cruz and time is going too fast here, but so much has happened so it鈥檚 fine hehe. We are having so much fun and I鈥檇 like to write about one day in particular, which I鈥檒l never forget.
At first it was a normal day and in the laterm pm hours me and Antea decided to go out in the city a bit. In the meantime we got tired and decided to sit on a bench. We weren鈥檛 there for a long time when a women came to us, holding an older man by his hand. They were talking in spanish so we didn鈥檛 understand them but we imediatly understood that he would want to sit down. We didn鈥檛 notice anything weird until we saw that the woman was gone and the man was by him self trying to explain something to us again. We tried to undertood him but we had to use google translate for help. I don鈥檛 know the mans name, but he told us he is 75 years old and we assumed he is homeless. He asked us to get him some food, we agreed that we need to help him, it was a hot day and that is the least we could do. We went to the nearest shop, picked up some bread, salami and water. When we returned we were glad to still see him there, waiting for us. Antea and I were both so touched and so was he, he thanked us and soon after we said goodbye and wished him all well. He was a kind man.
After that we knew we couldn鈥檛 just go home, we went walking and also bare foot running around the streets of Santa Cruz and spent the rest of the evening enjoying our company.
