One of the hardest things to me was finding the balance between languages. For me, I could not handle speaking Spainsh the whole day, but I could speak English but they would bearly understand me because they do not know how to speak English. To get a good balance between relaxing and challenging myself, I like to do both Spanish and English language activities in my spare time. When you go to school, you will get the opportunity to meet lots of people who work there, or perhaps even other Language Assistants. Since you are all teaching in the same field, of course, you will have lots in common. It is great experience to get to know everyone and gradually feel like part of your school community. So do not worry, there are plenty of ways to make new friends. Just remember to get yourself out there and do not be afraid to talk to people, whatever language it may be in.
