Traffic in Madrid seems quite similar to Slovenian, except that in Slovenia we do not have a Metro and tram. There are no special features on the road other than interesting roundabouts.

Most people, like us, travel around the city by Metro because it is a faster and cheaper form of transportation. However, as I mentioned earlier, some cities in Spain also have trams, which are very convenient for short distances around the city. They also have a lot of buses or trolls that you can take if you don’t want to go to the dark Metro. However, if you want to warm up your body, you can go from one place in the city to another on foot, as the big streets or squares are not so far from each other. You just have to be careful not to get lost on all these streets, as they are often very similar.

Drivers are not as tolerant at pedestrian crossings as in Slovenia. In general, it seems to me that the Spanish drivers are not as good at driving as Slovenes. Well at least when they are parking sideways they have visibly big problems as almost every time I saw someone parked he drove over the curb next to the parking lot. There are also impatient drivers here and there at pedestrian crossings, who do not tolerate slowly moving pedestrians on crossing. But nothing unusual because this is also happening in Slovenia.
