˝We should hangout!˝

As far I can remember I am always the loud one in the group. I am very talkative. Usually, I really like to hang out and spend time with my friends because I don’t really like to waste free time by watching TV or playing video games.  In our country everybody can meet new friends easily but in Finland its different.

Finnish people aren’t as talkative as we are. Nevertheless, they are really good at speaking English, they won’t be really happy when you try to talk to them. They will give you the shortest possible answer, that’s it. They aren’t even a little similar to us when it comes to chatter, especially with strangers. In almost three weeks of our stay here I only had a talk with one student and it was really short. More or less, I spoke with our teacher Arto. He is always happy to talk to us and very interested into discussing the differences between our and their school system or even just small talk about what we do in our free time during our stay.

When travelling I really like to meet foreign people or even just other Slovenian people on the exchange. We all became very good friends so I hope we will continue to hangout when we come back to Slovenia.

For the upcoming weekend we made a deal with our tutor students to go in sauna or on a hockey match. I really look forward to it because it will be a good chance to make new friends from Finland. I hope we will get along well because it could be a weekend well spent.

And yes, I very much agree meeting people is fun!

ZBOGOM, CELA OMARA!

Priprava na Tenerife zveni kot sanje, dokler ne ugotoviš, da poskušaš v en kovček stlačiti celo svojo omaro.

The Tenerife Chapter

In this blog, I’m going to “cry” about the things I will definitely miss from Tenerife. We stayed
