Every country has its own language, so you always have to get used to a new language when you go abroad. Sometimes it鈥檚 hard to get used to it, mostly in countries that have very different language then us. Everyone has language that they prefer, for me it鈥檚 Spanish and French. Anyway I don鈥檛 really like Finnish because it sounds weird, but longer I鈥檓 here, the more I like it.
The roots of the Finnish language are not the same as those of the Finnish people. Finns are believed to originate from what is now Turkey, while Finnish is a Uralic language, which comes from the Ural Mountains in Russia.
In my opinion Finnish is pretty funny language. Sometimes it sounds like they are singing certain words because they starch them so much. If you ask me one of the most fascinating things in their language are double letters. Most of their words have double letters; even some of their names have them. Speaking of names, I think they are pretty special. I already know quite a few Finns, but I remember maybe just three names in total.
In general I like to learn new languages, but for Finnish I need a little bit more time to get to like it. I already know some words in their language, but I hope that I will get the chance to learn some more. I think I can finish with moi moi, which means bye in Finnish.
